Oh dear! We're late again!, Apologies, sincerely, but it was always a likelihood, pushed as we were to get everything ready for Kozmik Ken Psychedelic Dream Festival, and then the mass exodus from SAHQ to actually be there. We have an overview of the whole outing from Snak (which, obviously, couldn't happen until he was home-again-home-again-jiggety-jig), but in the meantime, I've been loving the blogs!

Another reason for the delayed Newsletter, which can't possibly have escaped your attention, was the small matter of us having to mend the site first. Typically it waited until the office was safely a programmer-free zone, since both Snak and Following Dark had left for Devon and weren't due back at their desks for some days. Oh to be omnipresent. Or not, as the case might be. And there's the rub, folks, for verily, we can't be everywhere at once, and there is only, well, us. “Us” being some geeks and a kitchen table, who don't get paid for what we do and between us we do an awful lot. Indeed, although you can't see it (except perhaps for the better speeds and the fabulously briliant new players!), a lot has been done to improve the site since the boys' return from Devon, so if things do go wrong from time to time, please be patient. Unlike the huge commercially run sites, we don't boast an office full of 24/7 help desk, although none of them can boast “We're sorry but our programmer is away running a festival at the moment” either, so I reckon we're just a lot more funky.

This issue we say goodbye to our crack interviewer Kirstie, who has so many calls on her time and only one Kirstie to do all the behind-the-scenes things she does for SA, that something had to go. Happily, she found time to chat to the utterly brilliant Sendelica before she handed the interview baton to our very own Scarlett Flame. Scarlett is a girl who knows how to step up to the mark, and smartly too, with an intriguing chat with Star4mation.

Another newcomer to the fold is Chepstow, who proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that he is indeed an invaluable source of sanity and sage words. Thank you, thank you Chepstow, for helping us market Kozmik Kens Psychedelic Dream Festival to the world beyond SA towers, for steering the office through the press-mines, and being a cheerful and encouraging presence on the team.

Other usual features include Clumsy Al, who has been reviewing his socks off for you all, a mighty stack of CD's to be won, and Lady Mondegreen, sharing her new found passions as always. This issue it's mostly all about rubber, just before the bit where she tells Jungle Lion that they need to get out more. Tact? Discretion? Good old Monde. Ah well.
